"Storms Make Trees Take Deeper Roots"-Dolly Parton
Hi, I'm Gabby and I provide psychotherapy for elementary school-age children. My main focus in my therapy practice is meeting each child where they are at. I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship that I have with my clients. In order to build and strengthen the relationship, I prioritize creating a trusting and fun environment where children feel safe and comfortable expressing all aspects of themselves. Through this work, I focus on getting to know children for who they are and encouraging their strengths while we explore the person they would like to become.
I take a whole-person-centered approach to better understand the dynamics at play within their lives, and how I can best provide positive and impactful support. I incorporate many mindfulness techniques within my practice to build awareness of self and of others, and to connect the mind and the body.
When I am not providing therapy, I am outside as much as possible. I am my best self when I am swimming, hiking, gardening, practicing herbalism, foraging, basking in the sun, reading, and playing with my cat, Nova. I also own an herbal company where I make plant medicines, provide Reiki, and work at the Brunswick Farmers Market.
